Speaker Bio
Kevin Frankish helped CityTV Toronto’s Breakfast Television become the number one morning show in Southern Ontario. With his trademark suspenders and quick wit, Frankish had a loyal early morning following and was repeatedly recognized for his career achievements and community involvement. After 27 years as co-Host, Frankish announced his departure from Breakfast Television in 2018. He’s hardly slowed down since, finding new ways to connect with audiences including special projects with CityTV and a Facebook Live series during quarantine called “Kevin’s Isolators.” Whatever the setting, Frankish brings his warmth, humour, and unbeatable charisma to every event he appears at.

When Frankish hosted a high school talk show at a community cable station in North Bay, he knew his future would be in television. Three years later at age 17, he worked for CKNY Television as a reporter, camera operator, news editor and anchor. After earning a Radio and Television Broadcasting Diploma from Canadore College in 1991, Frankish spent nine years at The New VR in Barrie.

Frankish’s community involvement includes working with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Ontario Paramedics Association. Frankish has helped with many worthy causes and organizations including Easter Seals, the Canadian Cancer Society, Sick Kids Hospital, and the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
