Patrick Doyle is Vice President and General Manager for Canada at American Express Global Business Travel (GBT). Patrick oversees the strategic account management, traveller care, and loyalty businesses in Canada to support their reward fulfillment programs. His strategic vision and leadership continues to position GBT as one of Canada’s leading travel management companies servicing 500+ client relationships across global, multinational and SME segments encompassing industry verticals from technology to government, finance and manufacturing.

In addition, he has a proven track record of leading high-performing, customer-focused teams that consistently demonstrate value to stakeholders and deliver strong results. He presently leads a team of more than 1100 managers, consultants and travel advisors across GBT Canada. Prior to his current position, Patrick has held various leadership roles with both the Global Payments and Corporate Quality Groups at American Express.

He is active across many industry and volunteer organizations including the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, GBTA Canada’s Advisory Board, the Canadian Travel & Tourism Roundtable and a member of the Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Advisory Council.

Patrick holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University with an emphasis in Business and Sports Administration. He lives outside of Toronto with wife Lynn and their two children. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling with his family and working on his golf game.
