Joanne Gellatly has travelled the world and brings industry talent and vision as a George Brown professor. Her classroom experience is enhanced by more than 25 years of front line and management experience with airlines, car rental companies, cruise lines, hotels, and convention centers. She also has a tour-operator and travel-agency business background. In 2008 and 2013, she co-authored team tourism articles for the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and the Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes Journal. Joanne has an MBA in Hotel and Food Administration from the University of Guelph, and an honorary masters from IMI University in Switzerland. Joanne is a global DBA doctorate graduate in 2017 of the University of Phoenix’s Doctor of Business Administration program.
